External Assessment Summer School is an interdisciplinary educational initiative that aims to bridge the worlds of art, theory and design. Initiated and based in Singapore with an international outlook, the school has run 4 editions to date. The first 2 editions mapped out the socio-political aspects that enable individual and communal creative practices. The 3rd edition ran entirely on Zoom to provide platforms for learning, networking and collaboration in times of global indeterminancy. The 4th edition explored themes surrounding Southeast Asian Futurism and was conducted in Bali, Majalengka and Bandung.
